7-Eleven Distribution Canada is looking for an Inventory Associate in our Calgary warehouse operation tosupport our day-to-day warehouse operations.

JOB SUMMARY:


Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the SEDCC Inventory Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all inventory within the branch. This role involves conducting physical counts, investigating discrepancies, processing returns and damages, and maintaining detailed documentation. The Inventory Specialist collaborates closely with multiple departments to resolve inventory issues, improve productivity, and uphold compliance with company policies and safety standards. Strong attention to detail, timely communication, and adherence to best practices are essential for success in this position.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:


Maintain accurate inventory records through regular physical counts and audits.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, errors, and lost stock issues.
Process returns, damages, and claims in compliance with company procedures.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, procurement, and customer service to resolve inventory-related issues.
Ensure proper binning and organization of stock for efficient picking and replenishment.
Monitor and action system alarms (e.g., WORCS) to maintain inventory accuracy.
Support health and safety compliance within the warehouse environment.
Assist with emergent or unforeseen inventory issues as required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


Strong understanding of inventory control processes and best practices.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (e.g., WORCS) and related reporting tools.
Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Knowledge of health and safety standards within a warehouse environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments and resolving issues.
Problem-solving skills to address emergent inventory challenges effectively.

Shift Offered:Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Wage:$18.00/hr + Overtime
