Job description

Dispatch & Operations
  • Coordinate and assign delivery routes to drivers efficiently and accurately
  • Monitor active deliveries, driver status, and route progress in real time
  • Ensure all orders are accepted, staged, and dispatched in accordance with company SOPs
  • Communicate delays, issues, or changes to drivers and management immediately
  • Verify all delivery documentation is complete before dispatch (IDs, manifests, receipts)

Compliance & Accuracy
  • Ensure all deliveries comply with California DCC regulations and company policies
  • Verify customer information, order details, and delivery eligibility prior to dispatch
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, timestamps, and driver records
  • Report any discrepancies, incidents, or compliance concerns to management promptly

Driver Support & Accountability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during shifts
  • Ensure drivers follow all safety, vehicle, and security protocols
  • Confirm vehicle inspections, lockbox procedures, and end-of-shift checklists are completed
  • Track driver attendance, punctuality, and communication

Customer Service & Communication
  • Assist with delivery-related customer inquiries or issues when needed
  • Maintain professional, calm, and solution-focused communication at all times
  • Coordinate with sales floor and management to resolve order or payment issues

Administrative Duties
  • Assist with end-of-shift reconciliation and reporting
  • Support audits, reviews, and operational improvements as directed
  • Maintain organized dispatch records and reports
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Previous dispatch, logistics, or coordination experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-volume or high-pressure situations
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using POS, delivery, or routing systems
  • Ability to stand, sit, and work in an office/dispatch environment for extended periods

Preferred
  • Experience in a regulated industry (cannabis, transportation, logistics, or security)
  • Familiarity with cannabis delivery compliance and procedures
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
