  • Responsible for learning the applicable games offered in Dealer School that includes, but is not limited to, craps, blackjack & property offered carnival games, roulette, pai-gow, and baccarat to successfully graduate school.   The Table Games Dealer School Student does not perform the function of a Table Games Dealer nor work on the gaming floor in any capacity.    
  • Responsible for meeting Table Games Dealer School attendance requirements.  
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism and integrity in Dealer School.  The Table Games Dealer School Student does not perform the function of a Table Games Dealer nor work on the gaming floor in any capacity.  Ensures debris is picked up from common hotel areas.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High School Diploma or GED; zero to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a customer service position preferred but not required.   
  • Must be able to successfully complete a Table Games audition displaying adequate Table Games dealing skills and complete Dealer School prior to transferring to a Table Games Dealer. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.  
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit. Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
