Common Area Attendant - All Inn Hotel
All Inn Hotel | Imprint Hospitality
The Common Area Attendant plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the All Inn. This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by maintaining all public spaces, hallways, and hotel grounds; responding to guest requests; and ensuring supplies, linens, and terry are stocked and organized. The Common Area Attendant helps uphold the All Inn's commitment to warm hospitality, operational excellence, and a consistently high-quality guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Support
  • Respond to guest requests (cribs, rollaway beds, towels, amenities, etc.) promptly and courteously; maintain delivery log.
  • Assist guestroom attendants and laundry attendants as needed to support smooth daily operations.

Public Area & Grounds Cleanliness
  • Maintain cleanliness of all corridors, stairwells, and hallways; ensure pathways remain clear, safe, and free of debris.
  • Clean and maintain lobby, public restrooms, elevators, and other assigned public spaces according to brand standards.
  • Perform regular trash pickup throughout the property, including exterior walkways and parking areas.
  • Empty and clean all outside trash receptacles and ensure the surrounding areas remain tidy.

Dust, polish, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean glass, metal, and upholstered surfaces in public areas.
  • Remove trash to the dumpster and ensure the area remains clean and secure.
  • Clean and maintain offices and back-of-house areas as assigned.

Stocking & Inventory
  • Stock housekeeping closets and caddies with linens, terry, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Replenish public area supplies (restroom products, lobby items, etc.).
  • Assist with inventory counts of supplies, linens, and terry; report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure all storage areas are clean, organized, and secured at the end of each shift.

Maintenance & Safety
  • Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or items needing repair immediately to the maintenance team.
  • Make regular rounds of the property to ensure equipment, lighting, and public spaces are in working order.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appropriate chemical/safety levels of pool and hot tub areas (if applicable).
  • Assist with snow removal, de-icing, and parking lot upkeep as needed.
  • Support special projects, deep cleans, and renovation tasks as assigned.

Team Collaboration
  • Assist other departments to ensure overall hotel success.
  • Provide training and support to new team members as needed.
  • Participate in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.

Other Responsibilities
