Title: Sr. Buyer / Commodities Manager (Mechanical)

Location: San Jose / Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Buyer or Commodities Manager with strong expertise in mechanical commodity procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives. This role focuses on driving supply chain optimization, vendor management, and cost efficiency for mechanical materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement of mechanical parts, materials, and services
  • Drive strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives
  • Build and manage strong supplier/vendor relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
  • Evaluate financial risks associated with sourcing decisions
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Support vendor selection and qualification processes

Required Qualifications
