We are looking for our next Head of Sales, Bioindustries & Commodities within our Americas Bioindustries & Commodities Sales Team. Head of Sales, Bioindustries & Commodities provide strategic leadership for the regional commercial organization by defining longterm sales direction, driving market penetration, and developing highvalue customer and partner relationships. They ensure sustainable growth by leading strategic accounts, optimizing commercial execution, and building organizational capabilities that support multiyear business objectives.

This position is hybrid, and located in Geneva, IL.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $172,938 - $234,110. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute multiyear regional sales strategy aligned with aligned with the Bioindustries & Commodities business group strategy.
  • Drive commercial excellence initiatives to expand market share in food manufacturing, including valueadded ingredients, specialty solutions, and codevelopment partnerships.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to shape strategic priorities.

Commercial & Customer Leadership

  • Lead negotiations for complex, multiyear, highvalue agreements and partnerships.
  • Champion customercentric innovation in collaboration with R&D, Technical Support, and Marketing.

Business Development & Expansion

  • Lead geographic and segment expansion, including new channels, adjacencies, and partnership models.
  • Assess capital investment needs and recommend resource allocation for sustainable growth.

Organizational & People Leadership

  • Build and develop a highperforming regional sales organization.
  • Develop future leaders; strengthen commercial competencies, value selling, and account management methodologies.
  • Shape a culture of performance, collaboration, and compliance.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Oversee P&L elements related to pricing, volumes, margins, and operating costs.
  • Evaluate risks (supply, regulatory, logistics) and implement mitigation plans.

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master'sdegree; MBA valued

Experience:

  • 12+ years with proven senior leadership in sales
  • Strong track record in food manufacturing, ingredients, or B2B food solutions

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position that will occur from Monday - Friday.
