Description

As a Recreation Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for helping develop programs designed to improve the quality of life of our residents. You'll develop and execute activity programs, coordinate social activities and community outings, and assist other departments in programming needs.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Organize and lead enrichment activities for residents
  • Complete documentation in relation to residents and activities
  • Assist in program evaluation by documenting resident feedback and attendance
  • Ability to lead a class in front of a group of residents, including a pool exercise class


This position is Part-time at 16 hours per week. The schedule is as follows:

  • Every other Weekend 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Tuesdays: 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm


Wage: starting at $14.15* Experience Considered
