Job description

We are looking for a motivated Commissions Specialist to join a growing insurance organization. This contract opportunity is well suited for an entry-level candidate or someone early in their career who is eager to build hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-volume environment. In this role, you will support revenue-related operations by managing commission documentation, maintaining organized records, and working closely with team members to ensure information is handled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Retrieve commission statements from internal platforms and spreadsheet-based sources, then save and organize files across designated digital folders.
• Use email tools efficiently, including creating and maintaining inbox rules to help manage incoming documents and communications.
• Keep commission-related records accurate, accessible, and properly filed to support ongoing accounting and revenue analysis activities.
• Communicate completed work clearly to team members and provide updates on document status, issues, or follow-up needs.
• Participate in hands-on training and job shadowing during the onboarding period to learn team processes and daily workflows.
• Assist Revenue Analysts by gathering the commission documentation needed for revenue tracking and reporting.
• Manage changing access details and login information in an organized manner to ensure uninterrupted access to required systems.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and support a fast-paced workload with consistent attention to detail.• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files, credentials, and multiple tasks accurately.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and status reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook in a work setting.
