PAYROLL COORDINATOR DETAILS:
Title: Payroll Coordinator
Compensation: $25 - $30 / hour
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Nashville, TN
Openings: 1

REQUIREMENTS: PAYROLL COORDINATOR

  • 3+ years experience in recent payroll processing including calculating sales commissions
  • Proficient in ADP payroll processing software - advanced skills highly preferred
  • Proficient in Excel - advanced skills highly preferred
  • Aptitude for numbers and exceptional commitment to accuracy
  • Maintain high confidentiality of payroll-related information
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Strong knowledge of payroll best practices
RESPONSIBILITIES: PAYROLL COORDINATOR
  • Consistently & accurately process payroll for employees primarily in the US with a few in select countries around the world including hourly, salaried and commissioned employees
  • Calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions
  • Calculate and administer any other variable compensation or bonus plans
  • Set up new employees both locally and in new states/countries
  • Continually update statuses of current employees in ADP and Trackstar Time & PTO Tracking System
  • Administer HSA & 401k contribution changes
  • Participate in month-end & year-end closings as well as annual audits
  • Ensure company remains in compliance with all legal and institutional requirements
  • Provide data support to all department managers for payroll and commission goals inquires
  • Process international payroll utilizing 3rd party software as required
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2's, etc.)
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as requested
OVERVIEW: PAYROLL COORDINATOR
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the company's payroll, including all sales commissions, bonuses, and other company compensation plans.
  • Interacting with employees across the organization primarily collaborating with HR and Accounting.
