PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

This opportunity is a PRN position and offers a flexible schedule. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested! TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. Quality healthcare and patient safety is our goal. Delivering the right care at the right time in the right setting is the core mission of a critical access hospital. We are committed to improve the quality of care we deliver every day. TMC Bonham is managed by Texoma Medical Center, subsidiary of UHS.

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements

Current Texas nursing license or compact license. One year full time experience in an acute ED setting. RQI BLS and ACLS required. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation. TNCC required within 12 months. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
