Job description

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a leading nonprofit association dedicated to advancing the quality of higher education, seeks a collaborator with data analytics and CRM expertise to join HLCโ€™s IT team as Manager of Enterprise Systems.  

The Manager of Enterprise Systems supports the day-to-day performance, configuration, improvement, and user adoption of HLCโ€™s enterprise application portfolio. Working closely with the Director of Enterprise Systems, this role manages requirements, vendor coordination, testing, documentation, training, reporting tools, and system enhancements that support HLCโ€™s business processes and data-informed decision-making. 

HLCโ€™s enterprise ecosystem is centralized around the Salesforce platform, leveraging APIs and advanced web technology to provide portals that support the activities of over 20,000 external users. HLC invests significant organizational resources in systems governance, process mapping (Signavio), analytics (Tableau), Agile methodology, and emerging AI technologies. This is an ideal role for Salesforce Certified Administrators and/or Tableau Analysts with an interest or background in product management, data analytics, and workflow development.  

Attributes Sought:  

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required, or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of three yearsโ€™ experience in enterprise systems, application management, or related fields

  • Experience with Product Management in modern web-based environments

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM

  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing

  • Experience with Business Process Analysis and Mapping

  • Experience generating technical documentation

  • Experience with Agile methodology strongly preferred

  • Experience working with data and analytics platforms, including dashboard and report development

  • Experience with requirements gathering, testing methodologies, and system implementation practices

  • Understanding of system integration and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled features

  • Expert at customer service, working with end-users, and collaborating with staff from other departments

Pay Scale and Benefits Information
HLC offers medical insurance, including an option with no premium charge to employees. HLC also offers dental, vision coverage, life insurance options, long term disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  

The annual payโ€ฏrange for this salaryโ€ฏis expected to be $90,000-$100,000 although the actual salaryโ€ฏfor the position may vary based on experience, qualifications, and HLC budget considerations. 

Timeline and Hiring Process
Initial review of applications will begin on August 17. While subject to change, candidates elected to advance throughout the process can expect a virtual interview to take place in late August and an in-person interview to take place in early to mid-September. The expected start date is Fall 2026.
