Commission Software Engineer Rotational Program Jobs in Utah

HOJ Innovations – is currently seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our growing WarehouseOS team. In this role you will help develop and deliver components for our SaaS product line.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implements/modifies code based on requirements for the project spec.
• Writes unit tests.
• Participates in standups, design sessions, and code reviews.
• Assists in the design of user interfaces as needed.
• Debugs or corrects any issues discovered during beta testing.
• Collaborates with department heads, managers, and team members to accomplish necessary tasks.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong experience with object-oriented languages.
• Thorough understanding of computer science theory and software design principles.
• Ability to write performant code.
• Capable of working with code in any part of the software lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

Any of the following are an advantage

• 1+ years of experience developing C# applications.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and web applications. 
• Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with a microservice architecture.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of supply chain.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field or currently enrolled in a Computer Science degree program required.
• At least one year of related work experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
