Job description

Speech Language Pathologist

Job Type: Travel

Profession: Therapy

Specialty: Speech Pathology

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8H Days

Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: CO License required

Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP

Must-Have: Acute care experience

Description: Hiring process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager. The radius for candidates is 60 miles. Documentation must be provided. Clinicians are required to be in state for the orientation week, even if the first day modules are remote. Patients treated per day average 7-8. Common diagnoses include neuro, critical care, and trauma. Experience in acute care settings is essential. The team operates with a self-paced department-specific orientation. Three full weekends are required within the 13-week contract. No holiday requirements for this position. The dress code for this role is black scrubs. The charting system used is EPIC. Cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
