Job description

Regional Sales Specialist — Macro Synthetic Fiber Systems

Join our team as a Regional Sales Specialist focused on marketing macro synthetic fibers to the civil construction flooring sector. This role emphasizes proactive field sales: cold calling, following up on website inquiry leads, monitoring public project announcements, presenting at engineer/architect seminars, and using personal industry networks. You will be expected to work independently and dedicate about 80% of your time to travel across NC and SC to meet prospects and clients in their offices or on active construction sites. The role is headquartered in Waxhaw, NC, but is primarily field-based. Physical ability to work on job sites and to lift/carry 50 lbs is mandatory.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to increase product adoption in flooring applications.
  • Perform client visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations at job sites and office meetings.
  • Provide weekly reporting that includes activity summaries, contact lists, monthly forecasting, major project leads, and inventory tracking.
  • Control local expenses and operate within the area budget to enhance profitability and meet company objectives.
  • Achieve defined sales goals and help implement corporate strategies for your market.

Required Experience and Credentials:

Candidates must have formal knowledge of concrete technologies and practical exposure to the ready-mix, precast, admixture, concrete fiber, tunnel, or shotcrete industries. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; alternatively, a two-year engineering-based degree with relevant industry experience will be considered. Sales backgrounds outside the construction sector will not meet our needs. ACI Grade 1 certification is desirable but not mandatory. A valid passport is required for occasional international training opportunities. For qualified individuals lacking some skills, we may offer a training pathway that incorporates on-the-job learning.
