Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects within the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Construction Management Department. Responsibilities include monitoring and coordinating work performed by architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with STOF rules and regulations. The Construction Senior Project Manager is also responsible for applying technical and management expertise to a variety of construction projects; coordinating personnel, equipment, and materials to achieve project objectives. The incumbent develops critical path schedule for construction plans and ensures timely and satisfactory completion of assigned work. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in construction management, specifically large and complex vertical construction projects, including the development of construction strategic initiatives, site design, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, and contract specification, negotiation and execution is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
