Job description

Insurance Sales Agent, Base + Commission Career Growth Track
Farmers Insurance Division 86 is the number one ranked Farmers district in California, and we are hiring Insurance Sales Agents across our Orange County locations. This is a full sales role with real autonomy and a clear runway to advance, not a call center seat.
The Role
You will consult with clients on auto, home, life, and commercial insurance. You will own the full sales cycle, including quoting, presenting, and binding policies, while building your own book of business. As your book grows, your renewal income compounds, and strong performers move up quickly.
Development and Growth
You will be paired with experienced agents and leadership who have built successful books of their own. Our structured coaching is designed to help motivated people ramp fast and build toward long term growth within the district.
Why Orange County, Why Now
Orange County is one of the most affluent markets in Southern California, with strong insurance demand and an established client base. You will have Farmers' national brand and marketing support behind every conversation. We have locations throughout the county and are actively interviewing this month.
Apply now, or message us directly with questions before applying.
Requirements
  • Prior sales or business development experience in any industry
  • Active California Property & Casualty license, enrolled in licensing coursework, or willing to obtain one; Farmers will support licensing for candidates who don't yet have one
  • Insurance sales experience preferred
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Located in or willing to commute to Orange County

Benefits
  • Health insurance
  • Performance bonuses tied to individual results
  • Renewal income that compounds as your book of business grows
  • Structured coaching and mentorship from experienced agents and district leadership
  • Support through the P&C licensing process if you don't already have one
  • Access to Farmers' national brand and marketing support
  • Clear advancement track within the district for strong performers
