Job description

A foundation and drilling contractor near Elk River, MN is seeking an experienced Foundation Drill Rig Operator to operate specialized drilling equipment on foundation and deep foundation construction projects.

This is a hands-on field role requiring real drill rig experience, strong safety practices, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate foundation drill rigs (e.g., auger, caisson, or piling rigs) on active construction sites
  • Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on drilling equipment in the field
  • Follow all job site safety protocols and procedures at all times
  • Work closely with crew members and site supervisors to meet project schedules and specifications
  • Maintain accurate logs of drilling operations and equipment condition

Qualifications
