Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Profession: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Interventional Services

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Shift: 36

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology

License: Registered Nurse

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:

  • Experience in Cardiac Cath
  • Proficiency in Angiograms
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
  • Ability to administer sedation and recovery of sedation patients
  • Experience with arterial access recovery
  • Background in a multidisciplinary team

Description: Urgent start needed. Manager interviews are required. Rotating days Monday through Friday with rotating weekend call from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Facility has 70 licensed beds with 5 bays and 1 procedure room. Suitable candidates should have experience working with both inpatient and outpatient settings. Charting system is Cerner. Pyxis system is used. Floating requirement is not applicable. Weekend rotation is required once per month. On-call duty is expected once a week from 4 PM to 6 PM and on rotating weekends. Holiday expectations will be discussed during the interview. Scrub color will be procedural and provided.
