Job description

First Connect Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Wenatchee, Washington.

Ultrasound Tech – Technician Opportunity | Wenatchee, WA

Schedule:

  • Evening/Night Shift
  • 5 × 8-hour shifts
  • 40 hours/week
  • 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Mandatory call required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • ARDMS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Must be competent in:
    • General ultrasound
    • Small parts
    • 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester OB
    • Fetal anatomy
    • Venous studies
    • Paracentesis & thoracentesis
    • Biopsies and other interventional procedures

Essential Functions:

  • Perform accurate ultrasound examinations, including abdomen, renal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies, following facility and professional protocols.
  • Assist with interventional procedures using sterile technique, including biopsies, aspirations, localizations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies according to infection-control policies.
  • Properly label and handle laboratory specimens.
  • Use appropriate patient positioning, equipment adjustments, and ergonomic scanning techniques.
  • Efficiently utilize PACS, RIS, and EMR and complete required documentation for each examination.
