Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Workers' Compensation
Job Type: Direct-hire, Full-Time (Onsite)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Work Authorization: GC/US Citizen
Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Full-Time Legal Administrative Assistant to assist our Workers' Compensation team.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting attorneys who specialize in workers' compensation;
- Scheduling calls, conferences, mediation, and other events;
- E-filing court documents with county, state, and federal court systems;
- Accessing, uploading, and filing documents within the Industrial Commission Online Network (I.C.O.N.);
- Scanning and saving documents to the document management system;
- Organizing and assembling files for new matters;
- Requesting medical records;
- Submitting an invoice for payments;
- Answering phones;
- Managing attorneys' calendars;
- Other office administrative duties as assigned by attorneys or paralegals.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years legal assistant experience in Workers' Compensation;
- Experience with filing in the I.C.O.N.;
- Proficient to Excellent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Friendly and professional manner and appearance; and
- Adaptability, willingness to learn, and ability to work as a productive member of a team.
This position is for our Cleveland, Ohio office. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday), but additional hours could be required as necessary. The firm offers full benefits, including paid holidays and vacation, health care insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k and an excellent work environment.
