Mechanical Engineer (EIT or PE)

Plano, TX

Required Skills and Knowledge

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination

Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines

Ability to work well on a team

Exceptional written and verbal skills

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of building codes

Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment

Previous experience designing MEP systems for schools

Experience in the design of HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality, as well as other mechanical systems for commercial buildings

Supervisory Responsibilities: Mechanical Designers and Mechanical Interns as assigned Position.

Travel Occasional: primarily to and from job sites and/or client meetings.
