Job description

About the role

Air2o is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support both the coordination of our new Phoenix office construction and ongoing operational project management across active equipment and client projects. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of construction oversight, vendor management, and client-facing project delivery.

About the Company:

At Air2o, we're on a mission to transform the landscape of energy efficiency and sustainability through groundbreaking thermal technology. We are a global leader in developing innovative thermal management solutions that not only support the mission critical environments our large-scale data center, semiconductor, lithium-ion battery production, and agriculture clients depend on, but also promote a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come. We are a culture-focused organization, prioritizing the wellbeing of our team as evident by a generous health insurance plan ($0 deductible) and time off benefits!

Key Responsibilities:

Office Construction Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between leadership, general contractor, subcontractors, architects, and vendors
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables; flag risks and delays proactively
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor invoices
  • Coordinate procurement of long-lead items and interior fit-out requirements
  • Organize and lead project meetings; distribute minutes and action items
  • Liaise with city/municipal contacts for permitting and inspections
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership

Operations Project Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from order acceptance through delivery and closeout
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on lead times, purchase orders, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare and track equipment submittals and technical documentation for client approval
  • Draft and manage client communications, including order acceptance letters, project updates, and issue resolution
  • Support procurement efforts, including obtaining and comparing supplier quotes
  • Maintain project records and ensure internal teams are aligned on priorities and deadlines
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and sales to keep projects moving

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in a technical, construction, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with construction and manufacturing documentation (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, change orders)
  • Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable interfacing with both clients and internal teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project,  ERP systems, Asana, Monday,or similar)
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required
  • US work authorization required

Benefits:

  • Base salary $75-$95k/year + commission
  • Competitive health insurance plan ($0 deductible)
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Company paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with 3.5% company match
  • 15 days of vacation in the first year (pro-rated to actual start date)
  • Eight (8) paid holidays
