Main Duties & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring production and facility equipment isworking at all times. He/she will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintainall equipment. He/she will follow preventive maintenance schedules along withexisting protocol including building maintenance.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and followssafety regulations
General knowledge required in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts,etc.), pneumatics and electric drives.
Effectively perform various duties to install and maintainproduction machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Maintain inventory of repair parts and supplies.
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenanceservice.
Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment duringproduction and conducts scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipmentduring machine service.
Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical,and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform requiredmaintenance and service.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues, replace,or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and materialhandling equipment in performing duties.
Ability to comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderlywork area.
Must possess the ability to learn and comply with all company policies andprocedures including safety guidelines and practices.
All other tasks as assigned.
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 03 days at the Ottawa KS location.
Qualifications
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Blueprint Reading:
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawing, and/or schematics.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preference given formaintenance experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tostand; use hands, finger, handle, feel, communicate, and listen. The employeeis occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel,crouch, or crawl. Must be able to walk on concrete for long periods of time,lift up to 50lbs. and can climb ladders, and operate forklifts. Specific visionabilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed tomoving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment isusually very loud.
Training Required:
Training requirement shall be in accordance with Mac Fastener Training Matrix.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $22.80 to $27.20.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
