Job description

Join a growing community bank with a strong commercial banking focus.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Credit Analyst to support our commercial lending team. This role is a great fit for either an entry-level candidate with strong analytical skills and an interest in banking, or an experienced credit professional looking to grow in a relationship-focused, community banking environment.

As a Credit Analyst, you will help evaluate the financial strength, repayment capacity, and credit risk of commercial borrowers. You will work closely with lenders and credit administration to prepare clear, accurate credit presentations and support sound lending decisions.

What You'll Do

Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, guarantor support, and other borrower information for commercial loan requests.

Prepare credit write-ups, including annual reviews and renewals.

Assist with covenant monitoring and ongoing credit file maintenance.

Identify strengths, weaknesses, trends, and potential concerns in borrower financial performance.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent banking or credit experience may also be considered.

Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.

Ability to interpret financial statements and identify meaningful trends, risks, and repayment sources.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Curiosity, sound judgment, and a desire to learn commercial banking from the ground up.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with loan systems or spreading software is helpful but not required.

Why This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to build or advance a career in commercial banking. You will gain exposure to a wide range of businesses, industries, and lending relationships while working with an experienced team that values collaboration, practical learning, and strong credit discipline.

Bank of Wisconsin Dells is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
