Overview of the Position:
We seek a Great Personality who is a motivated, friendly, and dependable professional to join our family business.
Lewis and Sheron Textiles is a dynamic and fun work environment looking for a established and talented Interior Designer to help our new Interior Design department in our 80 year family business. You will be assisting clients with their interiors, focusing on fabric and furniture selections. An ideal candidate will have furniture sales experience, as well as several years (3+) of Residential Interior Design experience. We offer the stability and client base associated with a company with 80 years of demonstrated success. Lewis and Sheron is an exciting work environment where you can partner with our long term client base and work with beautiful and unique merchandise. We are looking for someone to head up interior specifications and develop client relationships. We are a customer-based service-oriented design group and we have the BEST customers - they love to challenge our creativity and demand high-end unique design concepts.
The position is two days a week (preferably Tuesday and Friday 10-3) and grow the department organically as clients learn about this exciting new department.
Duties Included:
• Managing and designing small to large interior projects
• Fabric, furniture, draperies, rug, case goods and occasional paint selections
• Coordinating with management and vendors to achieve excellent design for high end clients
• On-site fabric and furniture interior design project management.
• Site visits to client homes
• No construction management or duties
• Soft goods for the home
• Maintaining strong client relationships.
• Sales and Special order paperwork but our team will provide administrative assistance
You are welcome to have your own design clients outside of us and grow into the position.
• There will be ample opportunities for growth in this position.
• This is a Hourly plus Commission position.
