Job description

Job Purpose:
The primary function of this position is to manage and support intelligence operations, ensuring effective program and project management within the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Intelligence Community (IC). The role involves a wide range of tasks from communication and documentation to emergency response and technical system management. This role demands a high level of expertise, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate across various levels and departments, ensuring the effective management and operation of intelligence programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support all-source intelligence operations (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, Open Source, ELINT) and interact with various U.S. Government agencies related to intelligence, foreign policy, and law enforcement.
  • Oversee multiple contracts and projects, manage contract/program funds, and ensure high standards of efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior-level government personnel and brief senior DOE officials. Foster relationships across DOE, the IC, and other U.S. Government offices.
  • Research, assemble, and produce intelligence reports, assessments, and briefing materials. Maintain sensitive information control and distribution practices.
  • Execute emergency procedures, support senior leadership during crises, and maintain DOE continuity of operations planning.
  • Utilize a wide range of telecommunications and IT systems, including secure networks and teleconferencing equipment.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and improved business practices with an eye to professionalizing Intelligence Operations Center operations and ensuring high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Draft crisis and consequence management and operational plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a business or national security related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience performing the qualifications associated with this position. This experience may be a combination of private sector, civil service, or military experience.
  • Experience in intelligence programs or projects.
  • Experience in some of the following areas: All source information including HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, Open Source, and ELINT.
  • Skill in intelligence research, analysis, and production. Understand the principles and techniques employed in intelligence collection, processing, production, and dissemination, as well as the analytical techniques used to develop finished intelligence reports assessments.
Clearance Requirements: Must possess TS/SCI Clearance.
