Job description

$600 base pay every week. Bonuses and commission on top of that.

AMP Roofing is hiring canvassers in Cranston and the surrounding Rhode Island area. This is the front line of our business — you're out in neighborhoods talking to homeowners about storm damage and booking free roof inspections for our sales team.

The money
• $600 per week base — guaranteed, every week
• Bonuses on top of your base
• Commission on jobs that close from doors you knocked
• Our top producers earn six figures

The schedule
Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm–7pm. Five days, consistent hours, no early mornings. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

What you'll actually be doing
• Knocking doors in assigned neighborhoods
• Starting conversations with homeowners about roof and storm damage
• Booking free inspections on the calendar for our sales reps
• Logging your activity so every appointment you set gets credited to you
• Yes, you're outside and on your feet. That's the job. We'd rather tell you now.

What we're looking for
• Reliable — you show up when you say you will
• Comfortable talking to people you don't know
• Reliable transportation to your territory
• 18+
• No roofing or sales experience needed. Some of our best canvassers came out of restaurants, retail, and warehouse work. We'll train you on the rest.

Why this job is easier than most door-to-door work
AMP Roofing is a family-owned, GAF Certified roofing company working across Rhode Island and Connecticut. We do insurance-based roof replacements — and we bring in a licensed public adjuster to fight the homeowner's claim on their behalf.

That matters for you. You're not talking anyone into something they don't need. You're knocking on houses with real storm damage and telling homeowners something genuinely worth hearing — that their roof may be covered, and somebody will handle the insurance fight for them. That's a much easier conversation than most people knocking doors get to have.
