Are you passionate about using data to improve patient outcomes, healthcare quality, and organizational performance? Join our team as a Healthcare Data Analyst and play a key role in advancing patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical compliance initiatives across the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Patient Safety, Infection Control, and Clinical Compliance, this role serves as a trusted data expert and strategic partner to clinical and operational leaders. You will transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights through reports, dashboards, and analytics that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Work Schedule & Flexibility
The full time role is primarily onsite to support collaboration and Quality & Patient Safety operations. Following successful onboarding and based on departmental needs, the position may be eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement that includes up to two remote workday per week, subject to supervisor approval.
What You'll Do
Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support quality, patient safety, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze clinical quality, patient safety, and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Monitor performance metrics and measure results against established benchmarks and targets.
  • Support both short-term and long-term strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.

Collaboration & Partnership
  • Partner with Quality and Patient Safety leadership, Information Systems, and hospital departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of critical data.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and develop effective analytic solutions.

Systems & Process Improvement
  • Support and maintain safety reporting, compliance, and policy management data platforms.
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing new reporting tools, databases, and technology solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between Quality and Patient Safety and other departments to improve data flow, reporting processes, and system functionality.

What We're Looking For
Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.

Experience
  • Experience in healthcare data analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables and Microsoft Access databases.
  • Strong data management, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience evaluating business requirements and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and translate findings into meaningful recommendations.
