Job description

About Us

Ginny and Daughters creates hand block printed home textiles — table linens, cushion covers, bedding and apparel — made using traditional block printing techniques. We've built a loyal direct-to-consumer following, and we're now launching a wholesale program to get our pieces onto the shelves of independent home decor, gift, and linen boutiques. We're looking for our first Wholesale Sales Representative to help build that channel from the ground up.

The Role

You'll own the full sales cycle for a growing list of regional retail accounts — from first outreach to a signed opening order to a steady reorder relationship. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you'll help shape how we sell to stores, with a clear path to a full-time role as the channel grows.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of independent boutique and gift shop accounts in your region.
  • Reach out to prospective buyers by phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Present our line sheet and samples, and tell the story behind each hand block printed collection.
  • Negotiate opening orders and terms within our standard guidelines.
  • Represent the brand at a regional trade show or gift market each season.
  • Keep your pipeline organized and report on a weekly basis.
  • Nurture existing accounts to keep them reordering.
  • Manage and run our Faire storefront — keep product listings, inventory, and pricing current, and handle inbound orders placed through Faire.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2+ years of wholesale sales experience, ideally in home goods, textiles, or gift
  • Existing relationships with independent boutique buyers a strong plus
  • Comfortable with in-person selling and regional travel
  • Self-directed and organized — you'll own your pipeline with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • A genuine appreciation for artisanal, handmade textiles and the craft behind them

Compensation

Base retainer plus commission — 12% on new accounts, 8% on reorders, paid on collected revenue. Travel expenses reimbursed. Compensation details discussed during the interview process, with a clear path to full-time as the wholesale channel scales.
