Capgemini is hiring a Google Cloud Native Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable, resilient, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The role focuses on cloud architecture, microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, APIs, DevOps, and application modernization while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Your role
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
Architect applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
Define security, compliance, and governance standards for enterprise cloud platforms.
Establish cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
Design and develop REST APIs and manage the API lifecycle.
Build microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow.
Implement integration patterns including Event-Driven Architectures, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Pub/Sub messaging, and batch integrations.
Develop and optimize application code with testing and debugging best practices.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.
Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
Your skills and experience
7+ years experience in cloud-native application architecture and development.
3+ years working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native application design.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Spring Boot Framework, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Possess a solid understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
Utilize CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $88,544 to $207,401
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
