Capgemini is hiring a Google Cloud Native Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable, resilient, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on cloud architecture, microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, APIs, DevOps, and application modernization while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Your role
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using GCP services.
Architect applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
Define security, compliance, and governance standards for enterprise cloud platforms.
Establish cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
Design and develop REST APIs and manage the API lifecycle.
Build microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow.
Implement integration patterns including Event-Driven Architectures, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Pub/Sub messaging, and batch integrations.
Develop and optimize application code with testing and debugging best practices.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.
Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.

Your skills and experience

7+ years' experience in cloud-native application architecture and development.
3+ years working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong expertise in GCP services and cloud-native application design.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Spring Boot Framework, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Possess a solid understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
Utilize CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $88,544 to $207,401
