Job description

Associate Director
150Bond provides high-level strategic advice to C-level executives helping them to tell their story and grow their network. We work with high-growth tech startups, top-tier VCs, and Fortune 500s.
We're seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our global team in the San Francisco office. Hopefully, you're as excited as we are about innovative companies and top-tier investors working in the technology sector.
In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our accounts in all aspects of strategy and communication and keeping the company running effectively by streamlining operations with Account Directors. You will have established relationships in media and a strong trusted network of leaders in business and communications.
This hands-on role requires excellent communication, time management, and people skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A team player with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record managing high-profile corporate clients
  • A creative and ideas-focused approach with a strategic mindset to consistently over-deliver for clients
  • An ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment including, but not limited to, client relationship management, driving client calls, planning news announcements, end-of-month reporting, and strategy execution, and managing multiple stakeholders, e.g. IR, investors, etc
  • Lead business development initiatives and continuously build a strong pipeline of clients, availing of industry-leading commission rates
  • Proactive, day-to-day contact with all levels of client contacts, including, but not limited to, overseeing budgeting, invoicing, and time management, driving new business pitches, and counseling
  • Leading a team in all aspects of communications, pitching, strategy
  • Expertise in strategic planning
  • Proven ability to secure high-profile coverage with national business, consumer lifestyle, and general interest media outlets

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the PR industry
  • Agency experience is a necessity
  • Broad enterprise client experience across technology and business
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Possess strong leadership qualities, with a proven ability to delegate
  • Experience in client lead, management, and strategy development
