Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of processed expenses and delivering precise financial analysis and reporting to various stakeholders within Lennar. This position will also support team members with accounting analysis and reporting to leadership and the Corporate Accounting teams.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Drive financial projects and initiatives assigned by the Finance Manager, contributing to broader business objectives.

  • Work closely with the VP of Finance, Division President, and Division Controller to support division-wide financial initiatives and ad hoc analysis requests.

  • Prepare and execute weekly / monthly data loads to the financial dashboard, ensuring data integrity and usability.

  • Prepare Land bank takedowns in accordance with forecasting and update monthly Cash Requirement.

  • Prepare profit participations and residual calculations owed to Land sellers.

  • Provide financial insights and documentation to Lennar stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Identify gaps and or redundancies in processes and initiate improvements in alignment with the team.

  • Support development and upload of the division's business plan, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate planning timelines and standards.

  • Oversee the monthly chargeback allocation process to divisions for telecom and other cost distributions.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules, identifying trends and areas for optimization.

  • Maintain and update the allocation database, identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.

  • Develop and upload journal entries for reclassifications and accruals.

Your Toolbox

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field preferred.

  • A minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience or education is required.

  • Must have financial data analytical skills and experience in preparing high level reports from raw data.

  • Intermediate Excel Skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's.

  • PC Skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP Systems.

  • General knowledge of AP\AR functions.

  • Ability to multitask, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong project management skills are essential as well as a passion for solving business problems using technological solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management.

  • Must be a collaborator and be able to work independently to make decisions when needed.

  • Must be innovative, creative, and detailed oriented.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $70,652.43 - $111,209, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
