Base pay starts at $24/hr

Job description:

Become familiar with hotel product knowledge, activities and room types. Check daily all new reservations, cancel or change reservations, make sure information passed to relative departments are correct. Check arrival guests or groups of 3-5 daily, making sure the guest information, requirements and price information is correct. Perform administrative duties including answering phone calls, preparing correspondence, maintaining files, sending faxes, email, etc. Ensure that all correspondence has been filed accordingly, with correct and updated information. Comply to the hotel credit policy and make sure all forecast revenues are met. Maintain and update guests' information and sales data by reservation procedures. Comply with all company policies relating to reservations and follow brand standards. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or similar/applicable discipline preferred. A minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience or comparable experience is preferred. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. Fluency in English. Second language is a plus. Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. Proficient computer skills, including Google Applications (Gmail, Meet, sheets, Calendar, Hangouts, etc)
