Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation SME with strong expertise in DeltaV DCS to support automation projects in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for system design, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of process automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Support automation projects including system upgrades, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and startup activities.
  • Develop and review control strategies, HMI graphics, alarms, and system documentation.
  • Support change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and Computer System Validation (CSV) activities.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Validation, and Quality teams to ensure GMP compliance.
  • Provide technical support for process optimization and automation system reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of automation experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS.
  • Experience with PLC/SCADA, GMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification (CQV), FAT/SAT, and validation activities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills.
