Description
LTC Language Solutions is looking for skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters in the Fort Lee, Virginia area to provide interpretation services in an active educational setting,
Here is what you get to do:
  • Provide high-quality, in-person ASL interpretation in an active educational setting once a week for 1-2 hours
  • Ensure language access is provided
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of sign language and Deaf culture

Requirements
  • 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
  • Must be able to stay on your feet and moving while interpreting
  • Passionate about providing language access
  • Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics
  • Clear Tier 3 background check
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in American Sign Language
  • NIC/IIC Certification

As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will not be employee of LTC. Rather you will function as an independent contractor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.
