Quality Assurance Manager (Manager II)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Quality Assurance Manager performs advanced and/or supervisory (senior-level) quality assurance and program monitoring work. Work involves coordinating and administering the operation of a comprehensive quality management program (performance monitoring, compliance auditing, and process evaluation). May supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Provide and/or oversee others who provide advice and counsel to management on issues, rules, and policies related to program compliance and quality standards.
-Conduct and/or oversee thorough program reviews and audits to determine adherence to established performance standards and personnel actions.
-Develop, review, revise, and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and monitoring tools.
-Plan, design, and conduct general meetings, workshops, and quality-related training for staff to ensure consistent application of agency rules.
-Analyze performance data and core dimensions to identify trends and recommend corrective actions or process innovations.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
-Four years of full-time experience in positions that provided a thorough knowledge of principles of quality assurance, program monitoring, office management policies, procedures, and practices, and of agency functions and organizational structures.
-Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
-One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Quality Assurance Specialist (or similar professional classification) with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
