This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Commissary Associate to join the Commissary Team
***Full-Time hourly position. Starting pay $18-$20 per hour.***

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily morning meeting with Commissary staff
  • Receive POs from Commissary supervisor and collect product as assigned
  • Understand basic product ID and quality of ingredients to fulfill orders properly
  • Check out final PO orders with the Supervisor before sending them to each department
  • Deliver product to appropriate outlet, stage in assigned area, get signed copy by outlet manager
  • Organize assigned area in commissary and daily maintenance
  • Participate in the assigned daily, weekly, and special projects cleaning lists
  • Unload and distribute large deliveries to assigned areas
  • Carry out any other and all tasks as assigned by the commissary supervisor / manager.
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of gods and materials stored in the commissary.
  • To ensure that all equipment is properly functioning and utilized within the department.
  • Ensures that all malfunctions are reported to the Manager/Supervisor on duty immediately
  • Close commissary using the provided closing checklist

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Warehousing or Hotel environment, Distribution, Receiving and Warehouse Transportation functions.
  • Basic knowledge of product ID and food safety
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who displays initiative and possesses the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Ability to deal with a wide range of employees including upper management with regards to the day-to-day operation of the Commissary and special projects within the Purchasing & Logistics Department.
  • Telehandler and forklift operations a plus
  • Valid Health Certificate

Additional Requirements

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.

Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
