Job description

Role and Responsibilities

The Commissary Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of food products, supplies, and equipment from the commissary to company restaurant locations and approved partners. This role supports daily operations by ensuring locations are properly stocked, deliveries are completed on schedule, and vehicles and inventory are handled with care and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, and unload food, beverages, and supplies between the commissary and restaurant locations.
  • Complete delivery routes accurately and on schedule while verifying order accuracy.
  • Maintain proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation standards during transport.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and commissary areas.
  • Accurately complete delivery logs and required documentation.
  • Communicateproactively with commissary and restaurant teamsregardingdelivery issues.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50–75lbs repeatedly.
  • Comfort driving delivery vans
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able toworkflexible schedules.
  • Previousdelivery or warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Exposure to refrigerated and freezer environments.
