The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMl)IBioFabUSA is a Member-based non-profit, member-driven, public-private partnership with a mission to advance the bioeconomy and transform the future of human health. ARMI provides technical and wrap-around commercialization services to companies seeking to advance technologies that will contribute to this impact.
The Impact That You Will Make
In this role, you will lead ARMI's commercialization efforts, collaborating deeply across teams, engaging external stakeholders, and applying technical and business expertise to drive the advancement of novel technologies toward patients and the market.
Your Role
  • Apply Product Management practices to identify, "productize," and launch service offerings delivered by ARMI that allow innovators to reach commercialization milestones more quickly and with less risk
  • Serve as a business consultant and coach to startup companies, jointly developing and implementing impactful, company-specific commercialization strategies
  • Partner with internal and key external stakeholders to create flexible and responsive commercialization services for innovations being developed by ARMI, our members, and collaborators
  • Plan and coordinate activities across teams to ensure timely and successful execution of commercialization strategies
  • Build stakeholder relationships that enrich and connect the local, regional, and national cell-based and enabling technology innovation ecosystem
  • Grow ARMI's existing engagement with the investment community, generating connections that lead to positive outcomes for both companies and investors
  • Be a trusted, valued resource and thought leader for creating high-impact, data-driven business and commercialization strategies
  • Establish effective internal and external communication and reporting processes

Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in life sciences or engineering discipline plus a Masters of Business Administration Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of +5 years in a product management, strategic marketing, or product life-cycle management role in a life sciences, medical device, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization
  • Minimum of +5 years of direct experience working in a stage-gate product development environment
  • Demonstrated experience with the full product life cycle of taking at least one concept from ideation to product commercialization
  • Proven ability to develop business cases for new product concepts that include market analysis, VOC research, competitive landscape assessment, requirement definition, and financial modeling
  • Proficient in creating commercialization plans, establishing pricing strategies, and defining compelling value propositions
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and influence colleagues, members, and external stakeholders at all levels in an organization
  • Capable of managing multiple commercialization projects at the same time
  • Exceptional interpersonal and strategic communication skills
