This role follows a hybrid work schedule and requires employees to work onsite a minimum of three days per week at either our Charlotte, NC or Braselton, GA office.

Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the U.S. marketing strategy across Wellspect's continence care portfolio, including urinary incontinence, urinary retention, and bowel management solutions. This role partners closely with global marketing while translating global strategy into locally relevant commercial initiatives that drive market growth, customer adoption, and business performance.

The Senior Marketing Manager develops portfolio strategy, product positioning, customer segmentation, messaging, and go-to-market plans across multiple channels, including healthcare providers, distributors, durable medical equipment (DME) partners, and direct-to-patient commerce. This individual leverages market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and shape commercial priorities.

This role also provides strategic leadership for product launches, lifecycle management, sales enablement, and integrated marketing campaigns. Success requires close collaboration with sales, market access, medical affairs, regulatory, customer service, and global marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, shape long-term commercialization strategy, and achieve key commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and execution of the U.S. commercial marketing strategy across the Wellspect continence care portfolio, including Surity (urinary incontinence), LoFric (urinary retention), and Navina (bowel management).
  • Develops portfolio growth strategies, product positioning, customer segmentation, and value propositions that drive commercial performance across healthcare provider, DME, distributor, and direct-to-patient channels.
  • Translates customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and portfolio priorities.
  • Identifies new market opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to accelerate market penetration, customer acquisition, and long-term portfolio growth.
  • Leads commercialization planning and execution for new product launches, line extensions, and lifecycle management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption across all customer segments. 
  • Develops and continuously refines product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and customer value propositions across the portfolio.
  • Partners with Sales to develop channel-specific growth strategies, customer engagement plans, and commercial initiatives that increase adoption and market share.
  • Develops strategic relationships with key DME partners and identify opportunities to strengthen channel performance and customer access.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, advocacy organizations, professional societies, and strategic industry partners to strengthen Wellspect's market presence.
  • Leads digital marketing and e-commerce strategy, including website optimization, content strategy, lead generation, customer journey optimization, conversion, and ongoing digital experience improvements.
  • Partners closely with Market Access and Reimbursement teams to support commercial initiatives related to coding, coverage, PDAC verification, reimbursement education, and customer access.
  • Develops educational resources and commercial strategies that improve customer understanding of reimbursement pathways and support product adoption.
  • Creates sales enablement tools, training programs, and competitive resources that strengthen field sales effectiveness and ensure consistent messaging across customer-facing teams.
  • Partners with Supply Chain and Operations on demand planning, inventory strategy, and sales forecasting to support product availability and business performance.
  • Monitors portfolio performance, commercial KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimize investment decisions.
  • Complies with company and departmental policies and administrative requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Marketing preferred

 

Years and Type of Experience:

  • At least 6+ years of experience in global marketing and product management, with a focus on commercialization excellence (medical device sector or pharmaceuticals expertise is a plus).
  • Proficient with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and commercial systems, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Brightree and M3 is preferred. Familiarity with DME workflows, reimbursement processes, and healthcare distribution systems is highly desirable

  • Experience promoting a culture of accountability and ensuring organizational policies, processes, and expectations are effectively communicated and reinforced across teams.
  • Proven experience leading product lifecycle management, portfolio strategy, product positioning, value proposition development, pricing support, and successful commercialization of new products.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, professional societies, media partners, and external agencies to strengthen market presence and support commercial objectives.
  • Experience partnering on demand planning, inventory forecasting, financial planning, and commercial decision-making to support sustainable business growth.
  • Experience leveraging market insights, customer feedback, and performance analytics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and inform strategic marketing decisions.

  • Deep understanding of the medical device, homecare, and DME markets, including reimbursement, customer access, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Expertise developing integrated go-to-market strategies across healthcare providers, distributors, DME partners, and direct-to-patient channels, leveraging digital, e-commerce, field sales, and omnichannel marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy, customer journey optimization, website strategy, e-commerce, lead generation, conversion optimization, CRM, and marketing analytics. Understanding of reimbursement strategy, coding, PDAC verification, payer considerations, and customer access pathways, with the ability to translate reimbursement insights into commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, build alignment across Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, and Global Marketing, and drive successful execution without direct authority.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The base salary for this role is between $140,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
