Commercial Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead the construction of faith-based facilities, churches, and municipal projects throughout the Greater Houston area. This is a key field leadership role with a well-established general contractor recognized for its award-winning work, deep preconstruction expertise, and ability to deliver complex, multi-phase projects on time and on budget.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all field operations on assigned projects โ€” from site preparation to final completion.
  • Coordinate daily work activities, subcontractors, inspections, and safety compliance.
  • Lead on-site scheduling, logistics, and quality control to ensure excellence in workmanship.
  • Maintain strong communication with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
  • Manage fast-paced schedules while working on occupied campuses when necessary (e.g., church expansions, city facilities).
  • Ensure jobsite safety, implement company safety program, and promote a culture of safe work practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects.
  • Proven success building churches, municipal buildings, or similar institutional projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with field teams, subcontractors, and owners.
