Job Description:

Eskola, LLC's Raleigh, North Carolina branch is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Service Foreman to join our growing team! This individual will serve as a key field leader responsible for supporting daily service operations, leading roofing crews, maintaining quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial roofing knowledge, leadership abilities, and the professionalism necessary to communicate effectively with both field personnel and clients. This role is designed for an individual looking to build a long-term career path within our organization, with advancement opportunities toward Superintendent and future Service Manager responsibilities.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in workmanship, accountability, safety, and team development.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Leadership & Operations:

  • Lead and support daily commercial roofing service operations throughout the Memphis market
  • Supervise roofing crews performing repairs, maintenance, inspections, leak investigations, and small projects
  • Coordinate daily jobsite activities, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards
  • Perform troubleshooting and field assessments of roofing and waterproofing systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
  • Ensure proper completion of daily reports, work orders, and service documentation

Crew Development & Training:

  • Train and mentor roofing technicians and newer field personnel
  • Promote strong workmanship, accountability, safety, and professionalism among crews
  • Assist in developing future leaders within the service department
  • Support continuous improvement and operational consistency across the team

Customer & Client Interaction:

  • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and vendors
  • Represent the company positively during all customer interactions
  • Assist with site visits, inspections, and communicating repair recommendations
  • Identify additional service opportunities while in the field and communicate them to leadership

Operational Support:

  • Work closely with Superintendents, Service Managers, Coordinators, and Regional Leadership
  • Assist with scheduling, planning, and labor efficiency efforts
  • Help ensure crews remain productive while maintaining high quality standards
  • Support company safety policies, procedures, and operational expectation

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Foreman / Supervisory experience in commercial roofing, with a strong background in service, repair, or maintenance operations.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques including:
    • TPO
    • PVC
    • EPDM
    • Modified Bitumen
    • Metal Roofing
    • Roof Coatings & Waterproofing
  • Ability to identify roofing deficiencies and recommend repairs.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and industry specifications.
  • Ability to lead crews while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing customer expectations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license and a dependable personal vehicle to travel to job sites as required.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment.


Work Environment:

  • Primarily outdoor work on commercial job sites, with occasional office-based tasks.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and physically demanding work environments.
  • May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Above average knowledge of commercial roofing software (ex: DataForma)
  • OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour card
  • Aerial Man Lift and/or Forklift certification
  • First Aid, CPR & AED certification
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
