We are seeking a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to join our Norfolk, VA team and support commercial clients through expertise, collaboration, and exceptional service.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor managing complex commercial accounts and partnering closely with producers, carriers, and internal teams. You will play a critical role in delivering tailored commercial risk solutions while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance across every client interaction. Your work will directly support Towne's mission to deliver consultative insurance solutions that strengthen long-term partnerships and create real impact for the organizations we serve.
Towne Insurance offers a hybrid work environment that balances flexibility with connection, reflecting our belief that strong relationships drive better outcomes. Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in service-ideal for professionals who value meaningful client engagement over transactional commercial work. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., allowing consistency while supporting work-life balance.
The ideal candidate brings an active Property and Casualty license and at least five years of commercial lines experience. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicate with confidence and clarity in both written and verbal settings. Proficiency in Microsoft products is expected, along with a working knowledge of agency management systems-Applied Epic experience is strongly preferred. Industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR are valued and support your credibility as a commercial insurance professional.

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $65,000 to $90,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
