Palms Associates is hiring a Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling based out of Newport News, VA! (Occasional travel)

Pay: salary starting at $60,000

Palms is looking for an experienced Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling to join our established team and contribute to our expertly managed apartment and commercial properties throughout the Southeast.

Industry-Leading Retirement – 401(k) with 4% match + historically 6.25% profit sharing (With a 4% deferral, you could save up to 14.25% of your income annually, 100% immediately vested — and with a higher deferral, you could save even more!)

As a Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling, you’ll work independently and collaboratively on special projects across our apartment communities and commercial properties. Based out of Newport News, VA, this position involves typical travel to properties within a 3-hour radius, with occasional travel to other regional hubs including Raleigh, Charlotte, and other Southeast markets. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Estimating project timelines | Managing your daily schedule | Performing hands-on renovation work | Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on all projects | Coordinating with onsite maintenance and leasing teams
