Position Summary

The Commercial Property Analyst/ Associate will support the daily operations, maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations activities of the companyโ€™s commercial properties. This position combines administrative, operational, and leasing responsibilities and requires someone who is organized, personable, proactive, and eager to learn.

The role involves regular interaction with tenants, prospective tenants, maintenance personnel, vendors, and company leadership. Because responsibilities vary from day to day, the ideal candidate will be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProperty Management and Operations
  • Assist the General Manager with the day-to-day management and operation of commercial properties.
  • Respond to tenant questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors regarding repairs, inspections, and building-related projects.
  • Monitor open maintenance requests and follow through to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct routine property and vacant-space inspections.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate tenant, property, vendor, and maintenance records.
  • Help coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and related building access.
  • Support the preparation of vacant office and retail spaces for marketing and re-rental.
  • Assist with obtaining proposals, scheduling vendors, and monitoring work performed within the properties.
  • Help ensure that common areas and available spaces are clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as needed.
Leasing
  • Respond to leasing inquiries and communicate with prospective tenants and brokers.
  • Schedule and conduct tours of available office and retail spaces.
  • Maintain current information regarding available spaces, rental terms, and property features.
  • Assist with marketing vacant spaces through listings, outreach, networking, and other prospecting activities.
  • Identify and contact prospective tenants who may be a good fit for available spaces.
  • Follow up with prospects after property tours and maintain organized leasing activity records.
  • Assist with preparing leasing proposals, applications, supporting documentation, and lease packages.
  • Coordinate with management, prospective tenants, brokers, and legal representatives throughout the leasing process.
  • Help organize and facilitate tenant lease signings and move-ins.
  • Develop an understanding of the Chelsea and Flatiron commercial real estate markets, including rental rates, availability, and market trends.

  • Prior experience in real estate, property management, leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or office administration is helpful.
