Commercial Property Manager / Broker (Commercial Real Estate Property Management & Leasing)

Location: St. Charles, IL
Work Type: Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

Seeking a Commercial Property Manager / Broker to oversee commercial property operations, tenant relations, leasing activities, lease administration, and asset performance. This role combines property management, commercial leasing, brokerage support, and financial oversight to maximize property value and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of commercial properties.

  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants, vendors, and property owners.

  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.

  • Monitor building performance and ensure lease compliance.

  • Prospect for tenants and buyers and conduct property tours.

  • Prepare leasing proposals and support lease and sales negotiations.

  • Oversee lease administration, critical date tracking, and documentation management.

  • Maintain property records, reports, and transaction files.

  • Collaborate with legal, accounting, and ownership teams.

  • Assist with property marketing initiatives and leasing strategies.

  • Analyze market trends and support acquisition, leasing, and disposition activities.

  • Assist with budgeting, financial reviews, CAM reconciliations, and asset improvement recommendations.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial property management and/or commercial real estate brokerage.

  • Strong lease administration and lease compliance experience.

  • Experience negotiating commercial leases.

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate operations and tenant management.

  • Understanding of CAM, NNN leases, budgeting, and property financials.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management/CRM systems.

  • Real Estate License or ability to obtain one preferred.

Client Expectations
  • Must have recent commercial property management experience (not residential).

  • Strong background in commercial leasing, tenant relations, and lease administration.

  • Comfortable handling both property operations and brokerage/leasing activities.

  • Experience with CAM reconciliations, NNN leases, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple commercial properties simultaneously.

  • Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
