Job description

Busy and Growing GC has immediate opening for dynamic and experienced Project Manager. We build luxury retail TI and Ground Up Commercial Projects. This position may require some travel. We are looking for this Project Manager to have a high success and completion rate of retail projects. If you are inspired by a fast pace, are challenged by complex design, have keen organizational skills, and are looking for stable employment, this might be the perfect position for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open line of communication with Owner/Architect/Engineer/Subcontractors
  • Create and update project schedule with superintendent
  • Verify scopes of work and project schedule with each subcontractor
  • Hold weekly progress meetings
  • Maintain all Logs: RFI, Submittals, etc.
  • Write scopes of work for subcontractors
  • Coordinate and hold pre-construction meetings
  • Maintain day-to-day operations: Direct support and communication with field superintendent of daily job progress, RFIs, Submittals, Permits, Etc.
  • Approve subcontractor and material invoices
  • Preparing initial punch list with Superintendent in order to receive final CO
  • Project Manager must have complete ownership of a project and its requirements through completion
  • Managing the overall budget of the project
  • Executing risk management
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction or project management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to manage multiple projects
