Job description

Reporting to the Director of the Commercial Banker Development Program, this individual is responsible for the end-to-end execution and day-to-day management of the Commercial Banker Development Program (CBDP) and Commercial Summer Internship Program. This includes oversight of onboarding, training delivery, program operations, stakeholder coordination, and ongoing program enhancements.

The role requires cross-functional project management across HR, recruiting, business lines, senior leadership, external vendors, and the Underwriting & Portfolio Management ("U&PM") Strategy team, partnering to align early career programming with broader Commercial Banking priorities, support strategic initiatives, and ensure programs are responsive to evolving business needs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is on execution within defined parameters, with some expansion based on developing capabilities and or experiences, in partnership with more experienced staff.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational execution of the CBDP, with contribution to broader planning within area of expertise.
  • Assist with proactive recruitment strategy, reviewing applicants, selecting candidates for interviews, assisting in final round intern and full time CBDP interviews and ensuring high quality hiring within established time frames in conjunction with Campus Recruiting.
  • Assist with managing operational support for the business in the region to include business strategy; financial management; improvement activity; program governance, measurement systems & reporting; risk and compliance support, people support and development; project resourcing, and internal program consulting services.
  • Investigate, document and resolve project deficiencies and follow up to keep projects on schedule and within budgeted cost constraints. Provide logistical support for key team and business unit wide projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of project management and coordination methodologies, sharing best practices where appropriate to support consistency in approach and/or continuous improvement
  • Assist senior management with assigned deliverables as needed
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business so that these contribute both to the effective operation of the business unit as well as the development of the unit business plan.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $92,000 to $115,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, the budget and relevant skills and experience.
