Position Summary

JK Concepts is seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong background in commercial millwork or wood product manufacturing to lead our production operations and drive performance to the next level. This role requires more than operational oversight — we are looking for a strong, hands‑on leader who knows how to build, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all plant operations including production, scheduling, maintenance, safety, and quality.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams across departments.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold teams accountable to results.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve margins.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in commercial millwork/wood product manufacturing.
  • Partner with engineering, project management, and leadership to optimize workflow and capacity planning.
  • Champion workplace safety and maintain compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and operational reporting.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in commercial millwork, casework, cabinetry, or wood product manufacturing.
  • Proven success managing plant operations in a production‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high‑performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production flow in a millwork setting.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving operational performance.
