Job description

Lead Large-Scale Commercial Field Operations for Re-Create Companies

Job Overview

Company: Re-Create Companies

Compensation: $85,000–$115,000+ per year, based on experience

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on project needs

Project Scope: Large commercial structural CMU, site masonry, stone, and paver projects

Travel: Local travel between Phoenix-area jobsites; employees generally return home nightly

Required Licenses: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The Opportunity

Re-Create Companies is seeking an experienced Commercial Masonry Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial projects throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

This is a senior field leadership role responsible for overseeing Foremen, crews, project logistics, manpower, schedules, quality, and field coordination. Depending on project size, a Superintendent may oversee several large projects or a larger number of smaller assignments simultaneously.

The ideal candidate has substantial commercial masonry experience, understands structural CMU and complex commercial construction, and can anticipate and resolve field issues before they affect cost, schedule, quality, or customer relationships.

This position requires meaningful commercial masonry experience. Candidates whose backgrounds are limited primarily to residential subdivision walls or land-development site-wall production may not meet the requirements of the role.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Oversee field operations across multiple active commercial masonry projects.
  • Direct and support Foremen responsible for daily crew execution.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and project sequencing.
  • Monitor project schedules and adjust field resources based on changing priorities.
  • Review architectural, structural, civil, and masonry plans to support accurate field execution.
  • Identify and resolve field discrepancies, access issues, incomplete rough-in conditions, and trade conflicts.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, owners, inspectors, vendors, and internal leadership.
  • Attend project meetings and communicate scheduling, production, safety, and quality concerns.
  • Maintain oversight of daily reports, project photographs, RFIs, change documentation, and field records.
  • Support purchase-order, change-order, and material-planning processes when field input is required.
  • Ensure Foremen maintain company safety standards, jobsite documentation, and toolbox-talk requirements.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards.
  • Mentor Foremen and field leaders to improve accountability, productivity, and long-term performance.
  • Protect customer relationships by addressing problems early and following through on commitments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive commercial masonry experience.
  • Significant experience performing at the Superintendent level or in a comparable senior field leadership position.
  • Extensive commercial structural CMU and site-masonry experience.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple Foremen, field crews, and active projects.
  • Experience managing complex commercial projects for a substantial masonry contractor.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and project specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of manpower planning, equipment scheduling, materials, deliveries, and jobsite logistics.
  • Ability to identify field conflicts and coordinate practical solutions with project stakeholders.
  • Experience managing quality, production, safety, schedule, and customer expectations.
  • Comfortable using digital plans, project-management platforms, tablets, photographs, and field-reporting systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to travel locally between Phoenix-area jobsites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish-language proficiency.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, educational, municipal, airport, or multifamily projects.
  • Experience with structural CMU, stone veneer, mechanically fastened stone, pavers, and specialized masonry systems.
  • Experience overseeing projects ranging from smaller assignments to multimillion-dollar commercial scopes.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar construction platforms.

Experience That Does Not Meet the Core Requirement

Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to residential subdivision walls, tract-development walls, or land-development site walls may not have the structural, technical, and multi-project commercial experience required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $85,000–$115,000+ annual salary, based on experience.
  • Flexibility above the posted range for exceptional candidates.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Performance-based quarterly bonuses.
  • Annual year-end bonus opportunities.
  • Dedicated company truck.
  • Company fuel card.
  • Company-provided cell phone.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Stable, year-round employment.
  • Long-term advancement opportunities with an established Arizona contractor.
